MALLAGHAN engineering are pleased to announce its new range of aircraft ground support products designed and manufactured for the much anticipated launch into commercial service of the A380 (Airbus 380) aircraft.
The unprecedented size and scale of the aircraft has had a direct impact on the feasibility of conventional aircraft ground support equipment to provide safe and efficient aircraft servicing. With over forty A380 aircraft anticipated to be in service worldwide by 2010, we have invested extensively in designing and developing a range of high class products to meet the needs of the industry.
In October 2007, the MALLAGHAN A380 cleaning truck was launched at the 16th International Exhibition for Airport Equipment, Technology and Services in Munich. In a partnership with OCS Transport, the truck, which is capable of servicing the increased height of the upper deck of the A380, will be in service to attend the first arrival at London Heathrow of the A380 in March 2008.
